Substitute Teaching
What is the Substitute Cooperative?
The Substitute Cooperative is a substitute consortium comprised of 7 school districts located in the Lincolnwood, Morton Grove and Skokie area. We recognize that the role of the substitute teacher is a professional and valued job and our school cannot run without you. Substitute teaching involves many different experiences with many individuals and does present some special challenges as you navigate from school to school.
Our school districts use an automated phone/internet placement service of Absence Management. Once you have gone through the complete application process including interview and criminal background check, Absence Management credentials will be issued.
